Intramurals 2013

Last August 29 to August 30, our intramurals was held. A week before the intramurals, most of us, or all of us were excited. Each of us picked our sports, I chose Mass Demo, we practiced for 3 days. It's the first day of intrams , the teams were presented, the teams are Green Tamaraws for the Grade 7 students, Yellow Cardinals for the Grade 8 students, Red Lions for the 3rd year students and Blue Falcons for the 4th year students.

The first thing we did was we gathered in the gym to start the program, we did the usual thing to do in every event, sing the national anthem, held the prayer and lastly the President of the YSC Ate Sheila Martinez recited the oath of sportsmanship. Then the Mr. & Ms. Physique were presented to the crowd, the crowd began to be wild, each year level has their representatives. Scanner Malabanan and Clark Mercado were the chosen ones to represent the Grade 8 level. After presenting the candidates for Mr. & Ms. Physique each level performed for the Mass Demo, then we continued the question and answer for Mr. & Ms. Physique. After that the next was Basketball girls and boys, we cheered for them, both girls and boys won against the Green Tamaraws. We had our break, after that Tug of War was the next event, then the Dance sport,there are 10 pairs that performed ballroom, they were all great. After that was the Campus Duet, Ate Pamela Denize Castillo and Ate Yannah Mae Loyola won the event, they were so great. After that was Sack Race and Table Tennis, both are held in the gym.

The next day, we still had our intrams. We watched and cheered for our fellow Yellow Cardinals. The events happened on the second day of intrams were the championships of Basketball, Volleyball, Patintero, Sepak, Badminton and so on. After the championship of the games, we just enjoyed chatting and taking pictures with friends. We waited for the awarding to start, were all excited for the results. When it's time for the awarding, we gathered in the gym, and the teachers began to announce the winners in each game. We won first place in the game Table tennis, Shot put,Discus Throw and Chess girls, and most of the games we're second. And we're 2nd place over all, the Blue Falcons won the First place. We're proud of what we have achieved, each of us did our best, I enjoyed the Intrams very much.
